We’re delighted to share that Hotels Above Par has spotlighted one of Recdi8’s latest design collaborations in Florence — a neoclassical, frescoed pied-à-terre created for This Time Tomorrow — calling it “Florence’s Coolest New Hideout” in their August 2025 feature.
Set in the charming, residential neighborhood of Le Cure, just outside the tourist-heavy historic center, the property is far from the typical Florentine stay. Recdi8 transformed a late 19th-century abitazione into a fully immersive, art-filled retreat — complete with restored frescoes, antique tapestries, fine artwork (including a rare Dali lithograph), and curated furnishings that channel both Italian grandeur and modern sensibility.
With only eight apartments and no on-site restaurant, guests are instead encouraged to explore local life — cooking in their terracotta-tiled kitchens or discovering neighborhood trattorias. Bespoke experiences, like a private tour with a local sculptor or pasta-making in your own apartment, are a hallmark of the stay.
This project was created under the guiding principle of “curatorship, not hospitality.” The result? A deeply personal, cinematic stay that allows guests to live like locals — but with all the comfort and elegance Recdi8 is known for.
